                              Annie Taylor M.M., Piano - Scottsdale
Annie Taylor is a Phoenix native and has studied piano since the age of six. She loves many kinds of music, having grown up around an eclectic mix of everything from Classical to Bluegrass. Besides piano, she also plays the organ and mandolin.

Annie graduated Summa cum Laude from Grand Canyon University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance. In 2008, she completed a Masters of Music in Piano Performance from Boise State University, where she studied with Dr. Del Parkinson.

Kirk Taylor, Director - Scottsdale & Desert Ridge
Kirk has been teaching and playing piano professionally since high school. He has travelled from the Soviet Union to Alaska and Rawhide as a performer. He teaches all styles from classical to jazz and works primarily with more advanced students at both Studios. Here’s a recording of one of Kirk’s former students, Harley Jay, on one of Kirk’s originals.

Kirk studied jazz locally with Armand Boatman, local jazz guru, and Steve Culp of Turning Point. He also studied with Pat Burge, Piano Professor and Artist in Residence at Colorado State University.

                        Jennifer Timmer, Piano/Flute - Scottsdale
Jennifer started her musical career as a flute major at James Madison University, but soon realized that the magnetism of the piano was irresistible. She graduated with her Bachelor's in Piano Performance and promptly won a scholarship to the Schlern International Music Festival in Italy.

Jen is now working toward her Master's Degree in Piano Performance with Baruch Meier, renowned concert pianist and professor at ASU.

In high school, Jen kept her musical colleagues in line as the Drum Major for the Mighty Viking Marching Band! We’re very fortunate to have Jen on our faculty and her students definitely agree. J’ana DeLaTorre, Piano/Showchoir- Scottsdale
J'ana has been teaching for several years and graduated in 2005 Summa Cum Laude from Grand Canyon University with a degree in Piano Performance. She is well-versed in the Faber methodology and very excited to be a part of Kirk's Studio.

J'ana is capable of working with young beginners as well as older, more advanced students. She has received numerous awards for her playing and has taught at Valley Youth Theater for over five years.

One of the highlights of her young musical career was performing at Carnegie Hall. J’ana does an amazing job with the young performers in our Studio Showchoir. She is in high demand as a teacher.Showchoir.htmlshapeimage_13_link_0

Beibei Lin, Piano - Scottsdale & Desert Ridge
Beibei (pronounced Bay-bay) is a phenom as a pianist and equally gifted as a teacher. Ms. Lin graduated as Valedictorian in her high school’s International Baccalaureate program and will graduate with a perfect 4.0 GPA from Barrett Honors College in 2010. She will receive a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance and plans to pursue graduate studies in piano as well.

Beibei was the winner of the Masterworks Festival Concerto Competition and performed Prokofiev’s First Piano Concerto with the Masterworks Festival Orchestra in 2005.
