Jennifer Timmer - Piano/Flute - Scottsdale Jennifer started her musical career as a flute major at James Madison University, but soon realized that the magnetism of the piano was irresistible. She recently graduated with her Bachelor's in Piano Performance and promptly won a scholarship to the Schlern International Music Festival in Italy. You have got to hear more of her music here! Jennifer is now working toward her Master's Degree in Piano Performance with Baruch Meier, renowned concert pianist and professor at ASU. In high school, Jennifer kept her musical colleagues in line as the Drum Major for the Mighty Viking Marching Band! Deborah Plylar - Trumpet/Trombone/Brass - Scottsdale Mrs. Plylar has established herself as the go-to instructor for brass students in the Valley. Her students regularly outperform and place higher in chair auditions, regionals and All-State. She is a wonderful instructor for the brand-new beginner who wants to make sure they’re doing it right! Deb is a founding member of Southwest Brass and a distinguished trumpeter. She has performed with the Phoenix Symphony and Lansing Symphony and taught at the college level. She graduated from North Carolina School of the Arts with a degree in Trumpet Performance and furthered her studies at the University of Michigan.
